General Campaign – Campaign Description (Donate Here)
A Pathway to Hope and Home, Inc., is a Georgia-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized to improve the lives of economically-disadvantaged and socially-marginalized individuals. Our mission is to provide the following: 1) Affordable and/or free homeownership opportunities; 2) Free vehicles (cars, vans, trucks, and/or other forms of transportation – new and/or used); 3) Group home shelters and/or foster care homes; 4) Scholarships; and, 5) Various outreach services (economic empowerment, training and/or job creation, clothing/food/water, energy, education, housing, healthcare, resource centers, counseling) for deserving families and individuals, statewide, nationally and internationally. All for the purpose of improving their quality of life, building net worth, and creating more entrepreneurs. Assistance is available regardless of an individual’s race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, marital status, and/or sexual orientation. If you need us, we are here to assist!

Please Note: Many of these initiatives will be conducted in partnership with other official 501(c)(3) nonprofits.

Scholarships (General) – Campaign Description (Donate Here)
Funds will be used to send academically and income-qualified students to accredited colleges, universities, and/or trade schools. Eight (8) full scholarships and eight (8) partial scholarships will be awarded. This campaign is conducted in partnership with the “Genius is Common” movement, founded by Mr. Bruce George, the co-founder of Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry Jam. The goal of this partnership is to acquire “Genius is Common” t-shirts for the purpose of gifting one to each scholarship recipient. These t-shirts will serve as tangible reminders that each recipient possesses some level of genius in the form of their respective talents and abilities, and the importance and sharing their genius with the world.
Scholarships (Automotive) – Campaign Description (Donate Here)
Funds raised will be used to send academically and income-qualified students to accredited trade schools to specifically study automotive repair and technology. While the scholarships will be available for all qualified candidates, focus will be on awarding the monies to female graduating seniors and women for the purpose of increasing the presence of women in the automotive industry. Career trends indicate that individuals who graduate from a trade school often secure jobs that are equal to or even higher paying than those who matriculate from traditional colleges and universities. Eight (8) full scholarships and five (5) partial scholarships will be awarded.

Down Payment Assistance – Campaign Description (Donate Here)
Funds will be utilized to assist recipients classified as economically disadvantaged and/or socially marginalized in purchasing their first homes. According to statistics, homeownership is often the fastest way to increasing one’s net worth, one of the primary goals we have for our clients. Down payment assistance will be awarded regardless of a candidate’s race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, marital status, and/or sexual orientation.
Car Acquisition – Campaign Description (Donate Here)
Funds raised will go toward the acquisition of quality used – and, as funds permit, new – cars for our We Care Car Program. Recipients will also receive one year of liability insurance coverage and a one-year gas card. We will also have to allot a portion of the funds toward the storage, initial inspection, and repair of the cars (as necessary). Vehicles will be gifted to economically-disadvantaged and socially-marginalized individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, marital status, and/or sexual orientation.
Home Acquisition  – Campaign Description (Donate Here)
Funds will be used to acquire houses for the purpose of gifting to deserving first-time homeowners. While some homes may need either minimal repairs or cosmetic updates prior to presenting them to the recipients, to keep the cost of implementing this initiative low, none will require any major renovations. All homes will include appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator). This initiative is part of our nonprofit’s mission to create more homeowners who come from economically-disadvantaged and/or socially-marginalized communities. Repairs will be completed prior to gifting the homes and will be performed by qualified/certified professionals.
Auto Repair Clinics for Women  – Campaign Description
(Donate Here)

Funds will be used to conduct auto repair clinics for women to learn general vehicle repair and maintenance. The reason: For too long, women have been taken advantage of by dishonest mechanics, and it is just not right. We are so passionate about empowering women via this cause that the founder of A Pathway to Hope and Home, Inc. created the website My Pink Garage (www.mypinkgarage.com).

The auto clinics will be held in collaboration with recognized auto repair franchise brands or reputable, independently-owned auto repair facilities. Our hope is that participants will leave the clinic equipped to: 1) make small repairs; 2) conduct general maintenance; and, 3) engage more confidently with professional mechanics. This campaign is conducted in partnership with the “Genius is Common” movement, founded by Mr. Bruce George, the co-founder of Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry Jam. The goal of this partnership is to acquire “Genius is Common” t-shirts for the purpose of gifting one to each participant. These t-shirts will serve as tangible reminders that each participant possesses some level of genius in the form of their respective talents and abilities, and the importance and sharing their genius with the world.

Tiny Homes  – Campaign Description (Donate Here)
Funding for this campaign will support collaboration with other nonprofits to build tiny home villages for the homeless in the State of Georgia, nationally, and internationally, so they can live in dignity. Residents of the communities also will have access to services such as: a) mental and spiritual counseling; b) job placement assistance and training; c) workshops in financial responsibility (including how to develop and maintain good credit); and, d) educational resources (e.g. how to apply to a college, university, or trade school), among others. All residents will be required to participate in these programs for the purpose of transitioning from the village and on to live independent, productive lives. Each resident will also receive a t-shirt from the “Genius is Common” movement, founded by Mr. Bruce George, the co-founder of Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry Jam. These shirts will serve as reminders that despite their circumstances, each resident possesses some level of greatness and that his/her life matters in this world.
